When I heard my children's voices elevate in loud chatter as they scooted into my car and simultaneously said the same thing, I realized how rusty I was when it comes to childhood banter. I figured I needed a refresher when I had to ask my son what it means to say, "jinx, you owe me a soda"? Apparently, this jinxing stuff is pretty serious stuff, just like a major child care issue facing our courts today.

As of lately, I'm getting one question over and over again from potential clients. They know that I have the qualifications and credentials to practice law along with the relevant experience, but the one big question that I keep getting is…who are you? Will the real Donald Trump please come forward! When you roll back layers upon layers, who are you actually hiring to be your lawyer?

Dear Clients, Friends, Family and Fans of the 14-0 Carolina Panthers: On a daily basis, our law firm fields numerous phone calls from potential clients who want my 25 years of experience "for free"! I could provide this service at a risk of having to shut down my firm because these calls are never ending. W hy do I have to pay for a consultation with Mr. Montgomery? Big personal injury firms with catchy ads frequently advertise on television "we don't get paid, unless you get paid". Unfortunately, many people attribute this information to the way all attorneys are compensated.
